Huntsville, Alabama, is commonly known as Rocket City. For Edy, it was a place she grew up going to for shopping days with family. One of her oldest memories of Huntsville is from 3dr grade when she got to experience Space Camp at the Space and Rocket Center. For a long time, she knew this inspiring city would be the perfect place to pursue a career and a life.

Huntsville also became a place of opportunity for Logan. After graduating from undergrad & grad in Aerospace Engineering at Missouri Science and Technology, he was hired at a company just 8 minutes away from The University of Alabama in Huntsville, which is where Edy was attending grad school and was also her workplace.

Although they were just minutes away every day, their paths never crossed. That is, until they got help from an app called Bumble. They went on their first date - a Dungeons & Dragons-inspired coffee shop located inside Lowe Mill Arts Center in May of 2022. The brunch date went so well, full of stories, shared interests, and comfort. They talked until it was dinner time and ended up going to grab dinner together. They have been inseparable ever since then.
